Treatment #1 Done....

12/1/2010

Well, I'm done treatment #1.  Two more to go.
Naz and I are thinking, we should have read the radiation pamphlet BEFORE we headed out for supper.
Radiation was done in 55 mins and i went GREAT.  I even fell asleep during some of in.  Walked out and I could have been doing cartwheels.  We headed for supper at Kelsey's and I wanted the wings but NO WAY, tomorrow night is 1/2 price wings so I'll wait till then for those.  Instead I have the french onion soup, and some yummy spicey pasta meal.
By now I'm feeling tightness in my neck.  We get back to the lodge and there is a lady who will be visiting to play her guitar.  We head down to the meeting room to hear her.  Missy Burgess http://www.missyburgess.com/  Let me tell you, AMAZING!!  Also had a yummy piece of banana cream pie.
Toward the end I'm feeling my neck swelling and nauseated.  Ohhhh yeahhh,,, I had radiation, lol
Now back to the pamphlet as it states, no large meals, no spicey foods and no sweets.  I killed them all!!!
Eventually it hurt to even try and talk, my throat is now swelled up like a bullfrog and the toilet got all my food right back up.
I had planned to go out tonight,, NOT.
I had planned to eat the wings tomorrow night,, NOT.
Guess I'll have to actually accept I'm not THAT normal and also, read my pamphlets! lol
Tomorrow will see brighter days... soup and water.
And there is my Naz, my rock... every step of my way. xo
