Ouch...

Yup, ouch!  I have some pretty sore sun blisters on my bottom lip.  I should have known better over this past weekend sitting in the sun, but I didn't think it was that direct and warm.  It was.  Now, I will have 12-15 days of miserable, burning, tingling, bleeding, scabbing hell.  I will have my lip sunblock on next time for sure!!!!!!!!!!!
Aside from that, there are a few new members to the facebook group.  My interest lies with someone who is under a health care that is regulated.  I also think that cyberknife radiation is not available to him.  If it is, the expense is outrageous. His doctor is saying that surgery is his only option.  ONLY option.  He is not even considering radiation.  Such a radical decision along with being told it will change his life forever... no kidding it will.  I'm talking nerve damage here folks.  To be told that there is no other option makes my blood boil.  Of course this is coming from a surgeon who would make nothing if radiation were chosen.  His tumour is the same size as mine was 7.1 X 4.1 cm.  I still have mine in me, but is has shrunk.  This guy was told he has to have it out soon!!!!
My word of advice to anyone who runs into a physician/surgeon/radiologist... who says that you MUST do a certain course of treatment without giving you other options or sending you to other doctors of other specialties... run from them!!  As fast as you can.  After all, you are their mortgage payment and if they send you away, they don't pay their mortgage that month.
I'm not putting all doctors into that category, but I will say, any doctor who acts the way that I have described certainly falls into that category.
