Ups and Downs

7/17/2012

See?  There are ups and downs to every day, every week and every month.  I am now over my "bit on the tipsy side" waaaa waaaa'-ing I did there on the posting below.
Over it somewhat.  Still feel the same way, just don't linger on it as much.  It's kinda funny... when things are going well, I take that for granted.  Then, when things are not, I concentrate on that one issue and that is all that absorbs my thoughts.
Then when I am doing well again, I sit back and think,,. Wow, I have been feeling well for a couple of days now, but never realized it.  Anyway, you get the picture.
"Impractical Jokers"... watch it.  Funny as all heck!  4 guys who have been friends for years, play jokes on themselves using people from the public.  Hilarious!

Miss my voice

I miss my voice.  I DISLIKE the fact it is gone.  I can no longer sing the songs I enjoy.  I phantom sing.  I talk.  But is is raspy.  I sing, but it is croaky.  After 1  minute, my voice is bad enough I cannot carry a tune.

I don't think I mentioned a couple of things from my last appointment.  If I did and you have already heard this before, deal with it lol
Hey Doc, "Why did I lose some of my hair after radiation when you said I would not?" ,,, Doc says "We don't know.  After 500 people receiving cyberknife radiation here, only about 5 have lost hair, your hair must just be sensitive".  hummmmm
Hey Doc "Why did I puke my brains out until my toenails came up through my mouth and my neck swelled up like a bull frog?  You said this would not happen.  Did the radiation hit areas it should not have?"  Doc says "We don't know why.".. hummmm.
I ponder these questions.  I still have swelling in and around the tumour area.  This is causing quite a bit of  pain and discomfort for me now.
Hey Doc, "Why do I have swelling around the tumour 1 1/2 yrs after having radiation?"  Doc says, "We don't know. But hopefully this should diminish. It is not normal for this to still be happening but it should be better by 2 yrs".  hummmm..
As of today, it feels so much worse and I'm not sure if there is anymore room for swelling.
Anyway,,, my blog for the day.  Obviously not feeling that great, but as I always say, nothing a good glass of wine can't fix :)
